Rosemary Hills Elementary School Media Center
Welcome

Rosemary Hills Elementary School Media Center serves approximately 600 students from Pre-K to 2nd grade. We have an extensive print collection and network access to an array of digital resources and applications. During scheduled time in the media center, students enjoy stories, practice information literacy skills and participate in the Common Sense Media Digital Citizenship curriculum. In the spring, the media center sponsors a Black-Eyed Susan reading promotion. Students read or listen to the book nominees and vote for their favorite.

This we believe . . .

Young people thrive in a nurturing environment where they can explore, engage, wonder and create. Exposure to diverse cultures, viewpoints, and interests opens our minds and hearts. Those who can locate, evaluate, and responsibly use information are future ready for an ever-changing, interconnected global society.

We believe that learners committed to growth must become:

  • Effective communicators

  • Creative thinkers

  • Resourceful problem solvers

  • Responsible citizens

  • Community builders
